Here’s what you do….
First of all, browse our site and catalogue pages to see which carrier you’d like to try. If you need more help, then fill out our Carrier Information Request Form and we’ll be to suggest a suitable carrier to start with.
Then come along to one of our regular drop-in open days in West Norwood, where you can see and try out the carrier before you borrow it. Please be aware that these sessions can get very busy; if you’re intending to borrow a carrier, we would be very grateful if you could print off a copy of our Loan Form to bring with you with your personal details completed.
Once we’ve found the carrier you’d like to try we’ll get you started with using it so you’re not dropped in at the deep end! We’ll complete all the forms and paperwork, take your loan fee and deposit (for costs see our What Does it Cost? page) and send you off with the carrier and full instructions.
While you have the carrier, please contact us by email to ask any questions that you may have or to try to troubleshoot any problems. Ask us anything (related to your carrier)! We’d much rather we try to iron out any issues while there’s a chance to resolve them. Most of all, try to get as much use out of the carrier as possible so that you get the hang of it and can see how it’d fit into your life-style!
When your loan period is at an end, please return the carrier by whatever date and method has been agreed. We’ll confirm receipt of the carrier plus any instructions and accessories, and assuming everything’s in good order, we’ll return your deposit in full.
For more detailed information, please see our Terms and Conditions.
You can download our Loan Form and Terms and Conditions in PDF format on the Loan Form page.
Please note that we can no longer accomodate reservation and postal loan requests (except under very exceptional circumstances) due to the additional time and administration that this requires and because it has proved impossible to guarantee when a carrier might be returned.
