The slings and baby carriers that are currently owned by the South London Sling Library Catalogue are listed on the Catalogue pages with their hire fee and returnable deposit value (based on their purchase and/or replacement cost). As far as possible, all carriers will come with photocopies of original manufacturers instructions for safe use, or at the very least written instructions for a similar carrier. We’ve also added links to instructions for most of our carriers on the Carrier Instructions page.

We also have a few babywearing Accessories
With all types of baby carrier, there are many many different manufacturers and designs available to buy. We aim to have at least one of each carrier type in stock at all times so that you can get the chance to see if the features and method of using or tying a particular carrier would suit you. Almost all of the carriers we hold have been tested for use with any size baby or toddler, though some may be better suited to different sized children than others. If you have any questions about the pros and cons of the different types, or need help deciding what to try, please email email@example.com, or use our Carrier Information Request Form and we’ll do our best to help!
We’re always trying to improve our selection of slings and carriers, with funds raised from the loan of slings going towards increasing the library selection available and replacing carriers as they wear out. If there are any carriers or slings you’d like us to stock, please let us know and we’ll add it to our ‘wish list’!
We’re currently trying to course some examples of great quality, comfortable Front Carriers and Framed Backpacks. Please do contact us if there’s anything you’d like to suggest or offer. Thanks!
